With a distinguished career spanning across the domains of Insurance, Finance, and Non-Profit sectors, Mr. Shimul brings a wealth of expertise to his current position. As a seasoned finance professional, Mr. Shimul boasts a multifaceted skill set encompassing Internal and Risk-based Audit, Statutory Audit, Forensic Audit and Cost Control. His proficiency extends to Risk Management, Process Development, Financial Analysis and Reporting; all meticulously executed in accordance with regulatory frameworks.

Since joining PICL in April 2023, Mr. Shimul has left an indelible mark, leveraging his prior experience at Central Insurance Company Limited and Shakti Foundation for Disadvantaged Women, where he held leadership positions in Internal Audit and Compliance departments. His tenure at SF Ahmed & Co. Chartered Accountants further honed his expertise. An alumnus of the MBS program with a specialization in Accounting, Mr. Shimul is currently pursuing his Chartered Accountancy course under The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), reinforcing his commitment to professional growth and excellence. As a member of the Dhaka Taxes Bar Association (DTBA) and an Income Tax Practitioner  (ITP), Mr. Shimul remains at the forefront of industry best practices.
